Read before you appoint
These articles answer the questions that developers, investors and asset holders put to us before an appointment. Each begins with a definition in a few sentences, compares in a table, quotes figures only with a source and ends with the questions we hear in practice. At the end of each article you will find when it was last reviewed.
Written for clients, not for applicants
We write from the perspective of the party that builds and pays. No guides for private house building, no career pages, no advertising for one procurement model. Where we give a recommendation, the assumption under which it holds stands next to it. Figures come from the HOAI, the AHO booklet no. 9, the German Civil Code, the VOB/B and named studies; model calculations are marked as such.
The articles do not replace legal or fee advice for an individual case. They are meant to establish the level at which a conversation about your scheme can begin. If you need that level for a specific project, our service is described under owner's representation and project control in Munich.
